IFF operates in partnership with the Tortilla Industry Association (TIA), a 30-year old leading non-profit that has very successfully represented the tortilla portion of the flatbread industry and the fastest growing sector of the baking industry. TIA provides a great deal of resources and synergy and infrastructure for IFF. Your IFF membership gives you reciprocal membership in TIA automatically at no extra cost. Wherever there are similarities such as in machinery and ingredients between tortillas and other flatbreads, we leverage on this, and wherever needs are unique we operate in separate independent tracks. For example we currently co-locate with the TIA Annual Convention & Trade Expo, while operating our own independent Education & Technical Committee, and hosting exhibitors and vendors of flatbread-specific products at the trade show.
